Manufacturer/ Dealer/ Repairer License of Weights & Measures
Procedure to Apply
- Register yourself on https://goaonline.gov.in and login.
- Click on Services Menu → All Services → Legal Metrology
- Select the service you want to avail.
- Fill the Application Form.
- Submit the application form and note the acknowledgment number (to track the application).
- Payment and other compliances (if any) will be communicated after scrutiny of the application.
Documents Required:
- For New Application
(i) Manufacturer of Weights & Measures:
- Certificate of Approval of Model issued by Government of India.
- ID proof (PAN card, Voters ID Card, etc.)
- Ownership Documents (Lease agreement/ Leave & Licence Agreement/ Partnership Deed/Sale Deed, etc)
- Labour Licence.
- Site Plan
- Date of Establishment of factory/workshop.
- Trade Licence/Panchayat NOC.
- Monogram or Trademark intended to be printed on Weights & Measures Manufactured.
- Details of Machinery, Tools, etc owned and used for manufacturing the weights & Measures.
(ii) Dealer of Weights & Measures:
- Copies of Certificates of Approval of Model issued by Government of India.
- ID proof (PAN card, Voters ID Card, etc.).
- Operational Manual for all approved models of weights & measures.
- Ownership Documents (Lease agreement/ Leave & Licence Agreement/ Partnership Deed/Sale Deed, etc).
- Trade Licence/Panchayat NOC.
(iii) Repairer of Weights & Measures:
- ID proof (PAN card, Voters ID Card, etc.).
- List of Tools.
- Ownership Documents (Lease agreement/ Leave & Licence Agreement/ Partnership Deed/Sale Deed, etc).
- Date of establishment of the workshop.
- Verification certificate(s) of the Test weights and measures used.
- Trade Licence/Panchayat NOC.
- For Renewal of Licence
