Verification & Stamping

1. For New Goods

Procedure to Apply

For Dispensing Units(Petrol Pumps)

  1. Register yourself on https://goaonline.gov.in and login.
  2. Click on Services Menu → All Services → Legal Metrology → Verification
    and Stamping of Weights and Measures.
  3. Fill the Application Form.
  4. Submit the application form and note the acknowledgment number (to track
    the application).
  5. Payment and other compliances (if any) will be communicated after
    scrutiny of the application.

2. For Re-verification:

Procedure to Apply

For Dispensing Units(Petrol Pumps) Only

  1. Register yourself on https://goaonline.gov.in and login.
  2. Click on Services Menu → All Services → Legal Metrology → Verification
    and Stamping of Weights and Measures.
  3. Fill the Application Form.
  4. Submit the application form and note the acknowledgment number (to track
    the application).
  5. Payment and other compliances (if any) will be communicated after
    scrutiny of the application.

For all other weights and Measures

The relevant documents are to be produced in the office of the Assistant Controller Legal Metrology/Inspector Legal Metrology.

Documents Required:

  1. Copy of the Last Verification certificate and/or invoice.
  2. Copy of the Model Approval certificate (optional).
  3. RC book of the Vehicle (for taxi/auto rickshaw fare meters).
  4. Valid ID proof.

  4. Installation/Fitment certificate of the Meter.
  5. Payment slip of the New Meter.
